93 eg hatch, had a d16a6, ran perfect, blew headgasket.

now D16a6 with z6 head, adjustable cam gear set 4.5* advanced to make up for 1/2 tooth off. new timing belt(b7) Timing is perfect. running on a P28. OEM y8 headgasket

Ran perfect for the first couple days after swap, then all of a sudden when i give it gas, it starts like, skipping or missing. Has no power when it skips, but doesn't lose power, unless im on a hill. It kinda sounds like a really fast launch control, no backfiring or anything.

The wierd part is, I can give it enough gas to barely pick up speed, if i hit the gas any farther, it starts spuddering, but the farther up the rpms go, the more gas i can give it before it starts skipping. Example. 1500 rpms i can give it say 10% throttle, 2500 i can give it 15% before it starts skipping and so forth.

No CEL or anything, changed the fuel filter as well, no difference.

And when it's idling, you can rev it up all day, and you can hear it skipping, but it barely does it.

I'm lost....

Also has unknown injectors and a resistor box, which i was thinking about taking the box out and using LS injectors i have laying around.

Just checked my dizzy cap, point were corroded a lil so i cleaned them off, found a break in of the dizzy wires by the 2 wire plug, covered it up for now. Still nothing.

after changing the harness, injectors, 3 diff Ecu's, found it to be the TPS sensor, apparently it shorted out, but not enough to kick the CEL.
