Confuse by spare tire !? .....
Found a really confusing fact
I'm trying to get a spare tire since it doesn't come w/ the car
I had a flat in middle of nowhere at midnight on a road trip like a month ago
(hitchhiked and got picked up by the cop, tow truck couldn't do anything cos the car is too low !?)
Anyway, find the spare wheel disk on honda estore for 99 si
DISK, WHEEL (15X4T) (KANAI) $173 ????
for 03 si
DISK, WHEEL (15X4T) (DUNLOP) $51.66 ??
What is the difference ? the 99si spare is way way way light or what ?

I'd be lying if I said I knew for sure, but one's probably a full sized spare and the other's probably a doughnut.

Don't know why the '99 Si rim would be more expensive, but they aren't the same bolt pattern. The '99 Si is 4X100 and the '03 Si is 5X114.3, so they're not interchangeable.

List for the '99 Si spare wheel is $153.23, so I don't know why he found one that's more expensive.
The '03 Si spare wheel is listed at $44.92. The '99 EX spare wheel is listed as $70.95. It probably depends on who produces it and the method it's made, materials, etc.

At that price you might as well just spend the extra money and get another OEM alloy (or whatever wheel you're using) with a full size tire. That's what I'm gonna do (by the way, I have a '00 Si and it's spare is a doughnut).

Hate to say it, but I'd grab one out of a trunk at the pick-n-pull for $5. It's not like you're going to use it very often - I only need mine to last long enough to get me home where I can put the spare steely on.
