Does the d16y8 exhaust manifold fit on the d16y7? Are they both the same? Does the o2 sensor plug fine?

What other d-manifolds fit on the d16y7?

It fits, but you need to use an EX downpipe, catalytic converter and intermediate pipe. You also need to extend the wiring for the secondary O2 sensor.

Yup it fits but you won't have catalytic converter. They are not the same, because of cat placement. On the 96-98 y8 headers there is enough room to plug it up just fine. But on the 99-00 y8 header the sensor is behind the motor, so you will have to unwrap the harness alittle or just make a O2 extension.

yes it fits. But like other people said you will not have a Cat.

okay i have a d16y8 with d16y7 headers and my check engine is on now
and im pretty sure its because i shuld be using the y8 headers ?
