Default Comptech Rear Sway Question

Now I know the version for the 94-01 Integra will fit EG hatchbacks if you install Integra LCA's, but my question is this: Are there any clearance issues with the exhaust piping hitting the bar with this setup? Anybody tried this setup?

This is an old topic, but I'm just adding to the archives...

It will not fit with a Thermal exhaust... I'm trying to find an exhaust that will work now.

And do you need to replace the LCA's... Wont they still work with the stock Eg's??

If the car didn't come with a rear swaybar, then stock lca's don't have the screw hole to mount the end-links in.... so yes, you generally have to change the lca's.

I'm not up on my EG trivia enough to know what models have a rear swaybar if any. I know my 2 CX's don't. (didn't).

Ohh but I am saying if worse comes to worse then cant you just drill holes in yourself?? And probably the EX/SI came with such advancements..

You mean drill the Civic (non-sway bar) lcas so they will accept swaybar endlinks? No, that isn't very feasable. You need to look at each of them and compare the differences.
Civic lcas - no endlink mounting holes, lca is strait over the whole length.

Integra/DelSol Vtec lcas - faced and threaded endlonk mounting holes, lca is clearenced (bent) to clear the sway bar.

You need lcas from a DelSol Vtec or Integra......simply put

The front lcas? No not really.
The 92-95 Civic outer lca is the same as the 94+ Integra but the inner lca can be different depending on the Civic model.
The Integra inner lca is the same as the Vtec equipped 92-95 Civics. So if you have a non-Vtec Civic you will need Integra inner lcas. Just bolt them to you Civic outer lcas. If you have a Vtec equipped Civic, then use your inner lcas.

SLPR......
It has been awhile since I've looked at this stuff so I may need some correcting here.
