comptech lower brace and 22mm ctr sway, compatible?
For a 1997 civic hx coupe, would a comptech lower tie bar be enough to support a ctr 22mm sway bar without damaging the subframe? Theres a lot of info on the ASR brace but haven't found much for the comptech brace. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, are these the right length bolts(#35 see below from 00 si) to bolt the bracket and bushings into the brace? Or do they have to be specifically from Comptech?

#35 are the correct bolts.
The Comptech brace is sufficient enough to use the CTR sway bar. It has the same concept except the design of the Comptech brace doesn't have all the filler (large middle section). I don't think you can use OEM bolts as they might be too short. I know ASR supplies larger bolts, not too sure if Comptech does the same.

So the si bolts wont fit? I was told to use OEM bolts and i assumed that he was referring to the si bolts since there is no such thing as a CTR in the US. So with that in mind, to even put the brace on, i assume i would also need longer studs right? (correct me if im wrong) As for the asr bolts, where can i find them, i need them asap. Can i just go to orchard supplies or home depot to find some that are approximately the same length?

Hmm, you might be able to use the stock sway bracket bolts because from the picture, it doesn't look like the bolts go through the brace like that ASR.
EDIT: They do go through.
Here's instructions that will help you...

You do have to reuse the LCA bolts, but they supply you with the sway bracket bolts.

So the stock lca bolt will bolt to the brace with no problem. But as for the end links where it connects to the lca, i would need to get bolts for it right?

Going through the parts catalog, I have compiled a list of OEM parts numbers you can use to mount you sway bar and Comptech brace according to the instructions.
Upper Bracket Bolt - 93403-08030-08 BOLT-WASHER (8X30) [QTY: 2]
Middle Brace Bolt - 93403-08020-08 BOLT-WASHER (8X20) [QTY: 2]
Lower Bracket Bolt - 95701-08016-08 BOLT, FLANGE (8X16) [QTY: 2]
You'll need proper washers and nuts.
