Comptech Icebox Question???
Has anyone ever used a different filter in their Icebox other than a Comptech one? Specifically does anyone know if any of the AMSOil Air Induction filters will fit into one? Also will I have room for an Icebox? Thanks.

Re: Comptech Icebox Question??? (RukusIX)
It doesn't look to me like an icebox will fit in there without a decent amount of modification to the intake pipe for sure. I see you have a JRSC in there so I'd just go fo a cold air intake instead and modify it to fit. You could find another air filter of similar dimensions that would probably fit into the icebox but I don't really see the point sice the stock foam one that comes witht the icebox is good.

Re: (Eran)
First I think that you should be OK using another filter, make sure that is from the same model as your Ice Box.
Second: I guess that your car is a 96 up, so you can go with an Ice Box for your model or make another one fit. I have a 92-95 Civic, Sohc, and run an ITR Ice Box; to make it fit I had to use a FAL Slim Fan and relocated the radiator overflow bottle.
Hope this helps.
