Compression Test Results (gsr motor, stock)..
Well I pulled these numbers..
207-195-185-190
Should I be worried about anything or what, I have been kicking the thought of a rebuild in the back of my head.

Re: Compression Test Results (megotvtec)
could be 80 psi across all 4 on one gauge, and 250 across all 4 on another gauge.
You really shouldn't judge an engine on the actual numbers, but rather the consistancy......I'd do a proper valve adjustment and redo the test. I'm sure the numbers will change slightly
good numbers tho

Re: Compression Test Results (megotvtec)
a healthy engine will be within 10% of each other. Say your highest reading is 200 psi and your lowest is 180 psi.....thats a 10% difference...which is fine. If you had one cylinder down to 120 psi...then you have something to look into

Re: Compression Test Results (daver)
just did compression/leak down test.
cylinder#1. 130
cylinder#2. 140
cylinder#3. 120
cylinder#4. 40
are those ok numbers for the first 3??
also cylinder#2 tops out at 140 but when i shut car off it leaks down to 110. does that mean the piston rings arent sealed tight around the cylinder wall? or is it a valve not closing all the way? i just tightened my valvesprings last week. so it shouldnt be that
