compression results
Ok so i just did my compression on my motor and i got 220cyl4 , 210 cyl3, 215 cyl2 and 190 cyl1. You guys think cyl1 is gone? Specs show 175-180 is healthy on the helms and i want to get some input from Honda gurus. I do see a bit of blue smoke coming from the end of the car . It's a 94 gsr with 95k and no headgasket is not gone checked a million times for white smoke , coolant in oil and or oil leaks. Smoke is blue and not alot come out ,but i do have a cel 41 (h025) and car is runing rich as hell!!! Could that cause some blue smoke from the fuel not burning properly? Or can it be the pcv being all clogged up with gum and what not? PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTIONS! I NEED THE HELP....THANKS GUY'S!!!!

Re: compression results (ek9junky)
It could be the rings.
What is your engine setup? Whatever the case, I would not call cylinder 1 "gone". The difference between your maximum and minimum readings is less than 15% (although just barely).

Re: compression results (ek9junky)
Blue smoke signals burning oil. Black smoke is when u run rich. Rings might be bad on cyl 1. Compression is high but you're looking at the difference between the others. Also num depends on how you run your comp test. Did u run with engine hot or cold? did u replace headgasket with OEM or thinner one?
