Compression ratio on a stock mini me??
Just asking for a friend that has a dx but want some power out of it. Do you guys know the compression ratio on a basic mini me swap? just dx bottom w/ all the dx internals w/ ex head? thanks

with the d15y8 block not decked and a properly compressed .043 head gasket compression will be approx 10.2- 10.3

why so much higher? the D15 has lower compression than the vtec, and the vtec has bigger combustion chambers, if anything I would expect a drop in compression.

yeah, that's the same head we are talking about.

the piston that come in the shorter stroke d15 have a higher deck height than the longer stroke d16
