anyone know the stock CR of a Y7 bottom end?

it depends on the top, the stock bottom end with no head has no compression

do you know what compression ratio is?

incidentally the y7 engine has a cr of 9.4

a y8 head, would hardly change the cr, very true. but as far as HP, the vtec would help much more than the change in compresson

The compression is raised to around 9.8 or 9.9 when using the y8 headgasket as compared to the 9.6 of a stock y8.
