Default compression check what is pin 2 and 8 connectors to remove?

hi i was wondering what to remove when compression checking,
Chilton manual says distributor connectors pin 2 and pin 8/ what connectors is that?

and for the fuel is there a fuel pump fuse/ i cant find or can i just remove the fuel pump relay?

There is no need to remove the fuel pump/relay fuse at all. Just make sure you unplug the distributer.

but will it flood the motor if I don't and for the distributor which plugs there are two plugs? how about the ecu fuse?

Well, you can do it one of two ways. Pull the fuse for the fuel pump/relay, or press the gas pedal all the way down, and it puts the injectors in what they call 'clear flood' mode.

o kay thanks i now have a problem the compression tester socket is tuck in the spark plug hole.
