and im going to swap everything over from my 1998 1.6 vtec into a 1.4 (1999 facelift model) civc hatch.

can i use the same wiring loom which is in my 1.4 or do i need my vtec loom?

what problems am i most likely to see when it comes to swapping of the ecu..

any links to some help would be great, ive been searching a while now.

the "loom" or wire harness must match the chassis, not the engine. so you will need your current "loom" and you will need an obd2a-obd2b ecu adapter since your going from a 98 to a 99 chassis, and you will use your 1.6 vtec ecu.

what if i wer to find a ecu off a 1999 civic 1.6vtec... that would surely be the best best???
