Comments on a possible purchase....
This wonderful car kinda fell into my sights the other day and I am seriously considering it. It has 156,000 miles on a d15, magnaflow exhaust(why magnaflow, i don't understand), HP Racing? 17's, Alpine hu, Reference components, MTX Subs and Amp, 143db......

If anyone wants to leave their thoughts and professional opinions it would be appreciated....
I want to turn this car completely jdm with a b16 and possible turbo....

actually....i sold the m3 and bought a house as an investment and hope to collect on it in the next year or two....and a jdm hatch is what i have always wanted....and this looked like a good, cheap candidate for fixing up.....actually, the m3 was paid for too.....
i have never heard of hp racing...i figure they are just some cheap pieces of ****...i would just get rid of em and get some spoons....

dude the way i see it is if the hatch is in good condition and your getting a good deal then cop it.but you definately wanna shop around before u make a mistake

i am definetely worried about how badly beaten up it is engine wise...but i plan to do a swap no matter what seeing as it is only a d15....and i am 19 so i know how i used to beat up on the rx7.....i am gonna test drive it tomorrow and maybe leave with it if it is all i expect it to be...but it is very convenient for it to only be 20 miles away....and has anyone heard of hp racing??

It seems as if you got plans and money for this project. I wouldn't worry about it engine wise if you are most definately going to do a swap. Make sure the body is straight and interior clean. Don't waste your money on Spoons unless you plan to track your car.

thanks...i hope this car ends up to be all that i want it to be....i have wanted a jdm hatch for a very long time and i really want to put one together rather than just buy one completed already....

let me offer one peice of advice.... dont go and copy everyone on this board. be unique. i mean i love the hardcore jdm hatch as much as anyone else. but make your own decisions and choices. do something different. obviously money isnt too much of an issue. just go nuts

Not trying to be a smart *** or anything but are you a mama's or daddy's boy.The reason I ask is b/c you have had all those cars and you said the m3 was paid for and you bought a house.Just wondering.But to have a point in posting in this thread I say if you are getting a deal and the car is in good shape go with it.
