Cold start sputtering issue...
hey everyone, i have a 1996 civic dx coupe. lately every cold start its been sputtering and misfiring. after 30 seconds or so it'll start to run really rough and if i start to drive it, it will also hesitate and backfire and if i try and give it gas it doesn't really do anything as if somethings clogged but if i push the accelerator to the floor, it will like unclog itself until i let off again and if im stopped the thing will run rough and the motor will shake and the idle drops as if its going to stall out but then the rpms will jump up. after like 5 minutes everything's fine like it never existed. I've changed the plugs, wires, cap and rotor, fuel filter and nothing seems to help at all.
i have a full exhaust headers back, short ram, and i did do the throttle body coolant bypass but that was like last year and it never did it. so i doubt thats the problem.
if someone can direct me towards the right path i would really appreciate it, thanks.
