Icon2 cold air intake question

Hey, this might be a dumb question but uhhhhhh, I have a 1998 civic hatch with a gsr swap and I want to get a cold air intake for it but I'm confused on what intake to get. Do I get an intake for a 96-2000 civic hatchback? or a 96-2000 integra gsr? I'm unsure of which one to buy :/

I was more worried about the direction of the piping if you know what I mean, as in. I dont want to buy a integra cai and then have that hoe run into the radiator instead of the hole in the wheel well lol

Is this your final answer???

You need to get the intake that accomodates your TB position.
If you have a stock GSR intake manifold, then you will need the Intake system designed for Acura Integra GSR, as the elbow has a couple/few bends in it to accomodate the lower position of the TB. If you have a skunk2 manifold, or other single plenum IM on your car then go with the above.

AEM system made for GSR
Comptech GSR Intake (real nice peice IMO)

I don't think brand or budget was the issue. Only fitment.

Exactly sir, well said.

I was only trying to buy a pipe that would go from my GSR TB to the hole inside the wheel well. Budget or brand isn't an issue. Just wanting to make sure a Integra GSR cold air would work inside my 98 ek hatch or If i needed a civic intake.

Thanks to all who helped out

You could always get mandrel bent piping and take it to a local welding shop to have them weld something up. Piping must be clean and have perfect joints, not jagged ends that don't match up from cutting haphazardly with a hacksaw...

Honestly? I would have a local shop make one for you out of 3" aluminum mandrel piping. You'll save about $100, it will be yours and yours alone.
