shouldn't be too hard as long as you can turn a wrench.

I know with my car (1999) you have to take the front bumper off, but thats just taking out 4 screws and a bunch of clips.

Seriously its not hard at all to install an intake

What car? What motor? Save the money, do it yourself. You'll learn a little also.

CAI install is easy. just grab the tools and go at it. what intake?

All you need it a Phillips screwdriver, 10mm socket, ratchet, and an extension.

Don't all civics from 92 and up require the bumper to be removed during installation for a cai?

Pretty much. You need to get rid of that fat resonator box.

Racerboi, the install is pretty straight forward. Remove the bumper cover, and the pull back the fender liner. Remove the resonator box (the bolts are sort of behind it, takes a second to find them), and remove the air box in the bay, and of course the rubber intake arm. Carefully place the new intake pipe into the bay, and loosely attach it to the throttle body with the supplied silicone hose and hose clamps. Connect the new cone filer, and put, double check the connections so they're secure, and you're not rubbing on anything. You'll probably have a spacer or grommet that goes between the car and the piping to hold it steady, make sure to secure it properly. Reinstall the liner and bumper, and you're good.

i've never had to remove the bumper, just take off the wheel and pull back the fender lining. just unbolt the u-shaped tube from the box. take apart as much as u can connected to the resonator box, that will make it easier. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

I have a 2000 civic and I didn't have to take the front bumper off. It's a little easier if you take off the front right wheel, but even that isn't needed. Just like someone else said, undo the front part of the fender lining and tuck it behind the wheel (or brake disk). from there you can pretty much take everything out.
Good luck https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

It DOES suck. Fortunately when I was installing my charge piping, the bumper was already off so it made it ALOT easier
