Coilovers needed if not lowering?
Hey all-
First step in the mod process is going to be suspension. I'm looking at either Tokico blues or KYB agx gas, but I'm not going to lower the car.
If I don't lower the car, do I need to get coilovers? Also, should I go ahead and add the sway bars now, or wait until later?
Thanks!
Aodhan

At least on some of the 92-95 chassis I've seen, they look like they sit a little low on the driver's side as compared to the passenger. But it depends on the car and the abuse/mileage/etc. Coilovers are just nice to have for that one time you want to drop it. Not sure about corner weighting, but I would imagine they could help there too?

go with some skunks or ground controls you can play with the spring rates and you can get what you want out of your suspension
let me know if your interested can get you really good deals on either or some no namers

coilovers are good to balance out a car but even at that you need a scale system to cornerweight. most of the coil over kits don't allow you to go to stock height as there are no dead coils to provide that much tension to keep the car at stock height. you either have to get a spring that is oe height or close that has a spring rating you want or go coilovers and play with spring type but not be able to go to oem height.
