hey everyone i have a 97 civic coupe dx model and i was wondering wat are a good set of coilovers to lower my car? i want something thats stiff, adjustable height is a plus, and i dont want to have a bouncy ride so yea mainly stiff. i was lookin at the tien basic damper kit but my friend told me to check out ground control, are they good too? anyways... does anyone know any good coilovers that are a reasonable price, as in under 1000

im running ksports and i love them. talk to the guys a JLB motorsports.
i too was looking at the tein basics....but what i didnt like was the fact that when you changed the height of your car...it also changed the pre-load of the strut.

you really have to search or read the suspension forum, this is posted alot. But here it goes again...What do you want to use the car for? auto-x, drag, daily driving only?
GC/Koni is popular due to the custom rates GC can provide
Buddy Club N+
Tein, although Flex is outside of $1000 i believe
KW
D2
Tanabe
and atleast 10 more. Search, take some time and read peoples feedback. and search archived material too. There must be atleast 100 pages of good info on coilovers alone.
