Coil Packs???
So, it has come the time that I need to completly change my ignition system so that my car will burn more fuel so I wont run as rich. considering that the whole ignition system has never had ANY maintenence ever (as far as i've owned it) I guess its time.
Originally I was ready to get a complete MSD setup with NGK Spark plugs.
But recently reading through a magazine I found that AEM makes a kit to put coil packs onto D-series motors. I was wondering what HT's opinion was on theis system or should I just get MSD wires, Distributer, and external coil.???

Re: Coil Packs???
What is your set-up? Ive seen semi-stock ignition support 3-500hp on weekend warriors.
Just dyno'ed a 625hp 425tq Built/Storked GSR with a OEM dizzy, NGK wires, and NGK plugs. No break up....Ghetto back-door and stock TB

Re: Coil Packs???
I don't know how it would be done using your stock ECU but here's a write up and then some using AEMs Direct Plug and Play EMS
