Need your OPINIONS ON WINTER PROJECT.
Ok so i have a 99 civic hatch im kinda lost right now I have a full H22a swap into ek hatch and a full B18C-R swap into ek witch one should i put I also have a full turbo kit that i can use or sell im planning on just adding basic bolt or maybe built head . Or should i go h2b and use the type r trans, or should i go h22 turbo or type r turbo. I want a perfect reliable summer daily and im planning on attending next years import alliance so ill definitely need something trust worthy i dont knoe how turbo guys feel about driving real long distances.
Plans are to run high 12's low 13's maybe 200-300 whp
Most important thing is reliability....
Money i have to spend is around $2500 and remember i already have both swaps and turbo kit.
#1 B18C-r swap
#2 H22a swap
#3 H2B swap
#4 type R turbo
#5 h22 turbo

Re: Need your OPINIONS ON WINTER PROJECT.
Its really hard to say you would have to brake it down, theres a big difference between 200 and 300whp if you want 200 then you should go n/a with the h22 cam it out and get some work done to it and you will be in the low 13's. If you want 300whp your going to need boost and your better off going with your gsr swap if you already have the turbo and with a decent psi and a good tune you can reach near 300whp. There are alot of things you have to consider and really its what you want. Reliability we all know n/a is best.
