Default codes 4 and 9, does the distributor need replaced?

i have a 93 del sol si, and pulled the codes 4 (cylinder) and 9 (crank position) off the ecu. i pulled apart the distributor and checked things out and cleaned them up a little bit, but still have the codes. do i have to break down and buy a new distribuotor from honda or is there something i can do? any help is appreciated.
