Code 54 - CKF - Crank fluctuation Sensor
car is 97 civic dx coupe with Jdm sohc zc non-vtec engine.
Threw this code as well as a 7 - TPS throttle position sensor, but i think i have that one figured out ( will take off neg cable to see if it goes away in a min)
Anyway, this Code 54 is bugging me, ive heard however that it is in the oil pump or something like that? i know for a fact there are still a few plugs undone ever since i did my swap, so im just wondering where this plug would go to fix this code. any help?

Code 7 didnt go away by the way. Still there
Does anyone even have a pic or know where the CKF is? it might just be unplugged somewhere, but i dont know where to find it

you'll either have to change to an obd-1 computer with a jumper harness, or you'll have to put tha sensor on the crank pulley. ( involves taking the crank pulley off and putting an exciter ring on the crank) best bet is to swap to obd-1 which doesnt look for that sensor.

Hmm, im just wondering though if there is a plug that would go somewhere on the outside of the motor for the CKF? I would imagine its the actual sensor is where its supposed to be, and i just missed a plug when hooking it all up.. Where exactly would the plug be ?

tried google search/ht searching, still no clue where this sensor would be able to plug in at. I mean i know the actual sensor is in the crank blah blah, i just mean where would the plugs connect... if that makes sense..

Removed the crank pulley and you will see the sensor. I wonder if it was not clipped in place correctly and a belt rubbed through the wires.

there is no ckf sensor on jdm engines. well atleast on the older ones. even the 2a and 2b ones.
remove the crank pulley and you will probably see that it isnt there.
i do a lot of swaps that i setup to pass de inspection and jdm obd2 engines dont have all of the usdm obd2 sensors.
