code 43 help
man i got a code 43 it is the fuel supply system can anyone tell me wat to do because when i drive the car under 60mph the check light is not on but when i passed 60mph on the freeway the check light comes on but when i turn off the car the check light is off. the car is running fine though, all i did was i change the fuel regulator that i got it from the wrecking yard and also changed the fuel filter brand new. So can anyone tell me wats wrong with it? or have anyone had this problem b-4?

Re: code 43 help (longshot)
this exact thing happened to me about a month ago..replace your O2 sensor. I picked one up at Napa for 70 bucks, took about 20 minutes to replace.

Buy ONLY NTK or Denso 02 sensor though!!! All others are garbage.
Besides o2 sensor the diagnostic flow chart for code 43 is a nightmare - one of the hardest codes to diagnose on an OBD1 car. Just pray to god the o2 sensor fixes it.

...for now.
I've been working at the same Honda/Acura only shop for 8+ years now, and I can't tell you guys how many cars come in flashing o2 codes/fuel supply codes and low and behold a less-than-year-old Bosch o2 sensor has already been installed!
I'm glad yours is working out for you, but again I trust Japanese-made OE NTK/Denso parts over German Bosch crap. I've also seen a lot of cars come in running like crap only to find recently installed Bosch Platinum +4 or equivalent crap spark plugs in the place of NGK/Denso originals.

B18C5-EH2 is exactly right. I've been through this one before. I tried everything, then amazingly, somehow, the CEL went away after the engine was swapped into a different hatch. Go figure. G/L.
