Code 30 after swap.

Ok here is the scoop: A friend hooks me up with a good deal on a z6. All I have to do is pull the motor from his car and drop it into mine. The donor car is a 94 dx coupe that was converted to manual. My car is a bone stock 95 cx hatch. The swap goes perfect with no problems except for when I start up the cx engine in the dx coupe. Right away I am getting a code 30. There is a connector on the firewall next to the battery that is not plugged in to anything ( I'm assuming this is the automatic tranny connector) Is there something I can do disable this? any help is greatly appreciated. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Even though this is a manual ecu I still have to chip it?

Re: (-[95cxhatch]-)

if the ecu is converted to manual then no need for a chip.
