code 22, what do i do?

code 22, what do i do?
I hooked a wire to both ends of my jumper plug and got a code 22 from my cel. My question is, will changing my oil fix the problem with the vtec valve? If not what do I need to do? So far I've never felt the vtec working and I'd kinda like to. Thanks for any help.
