Default code 14 IAC

Today I seafoamed my car and it turned out well but my CEL came on and it's throwing code 14. I did the seafoaming alone because I did it early in the morning so I had to feed the juice into the brake booster very slow because I was doing it on the idle. When I started, i slipped and put to much in at once and the car died, but I started it up fine and continued with the seafoaming. After I was done I noticed that I had the CEL. What could have caused this and how do I go about fixing it?

For some reason, a large amount went into the IACV. I would remove it and spray brake cleaner through it (lots of it). Pretty easy, shouldn't take you 10 min.

For future reference, you can still gas the car by yourself by directly opening the throttle body. I seafoamed my car by myself and didn't have a problem.

yea, i didn't see that until i was looking at my car later. i feel dumb because i knew of that before but it just slipped my mind.

another question: if i get it clean, will the CEL go off by itself or do i have to reset the CEL or something?

Disconnecting the battery resets the ECU and clears CELs. That might be all you need to do. My oxygen sensor threw a CEL and I disconnected the battery while working on my car and the CEL hasn't reappeared since.
