CODE 14, 7, IDLE problem, shifting problems
Hello.
i have a Civic Ex Coupe 95 with D15B JDM, OBD1 P08 ECU
my car is experiencing a rare problem. the CEL is not on but when i connect a jumper in the ECU service port the CEL give me code 7 and 14 (TPS and EACV).
the problem is if the TPS is set to 0.5v the idle bounce, if you move the tps little higger the iddle bounce disappears but the idle is extremely low and i cant hear the EACV running.
when TPS is set to 0.5v the transmission cant shift properly and make some noise when the shifting.
i also replace the TPS (3 of them) and the EACV too (4 of them) also replace the whole throttle body with all the sensors.
replaced cap, rotor, plugs, wires, head gasket, TB gasket...
any idea?

When you turn the key from off to ON(II), does the CEL turn on and then off after 2 seconds?
Does removal of the 7.5A hood Back Up fuse for 3 or more minutes clear the 2 codes? If so, if you then drive the car, do both codes return without the CEL ever turning on and staying on?
Auto transmission and auto ECU, right?

check the wiring i am putting together an EG that i found a bunch of bare wires that were grounding out on the d15, i re wired it and then wired up vtec and the knock sensor to be able to run the DOHC but wiring is a long process... i know its a pain in the *** man but just be paitent and you will get it fugured out soon

the CEL never stay on, i will test again resetting the ECU and tell you but the cel stay off, only i see the codes when put the jumper in the service connector

Re: CODE 14, 7, IDLE problem, shifting problems
hi.
after ECU reset the codes gone (yeah!).. but i still have idle and shifting problems.. some thing happen when i turn the car in the morning or when has a lot time off (like 4 or more hours) the car start but feels flooded, almost stalling and when the car is getting temperature the fail decreases but appear the idle and shifting problems.. could be injectors?
sorry for bad english hehehe

The TPS MUST be adjusted to 0.5V at closed throttle.
Afterward, if there's an idle problem, then adjust the idle speed as per service manual. Have you already cleaned and adjusted the FITV?
