Ok guys, lil background. Picked up a 94 eg coupe with automatic d16z6. Car has two check engine lights. Code 14(idle air control valve sensor) and Code 22(vtec pressure switch). Car has an idle like the one in this vid: YouTube - civic idle - aicv plug disconnected(title to vid)... when you unplug iacv it smooths out and runs like a normal running engine, plug back in and right back to this immediately. I replaced iacv and same problem. I havent done any messing with the code 22 yet. Anyone with the same issues in the past and a fix, please chime in! Will update tomorrow with any progress. Try finding a vacuum leak. Sounds like a leak or something plugged

Alright just a quick update before hit the sack for early day at work tomorrow. Vtec is indeed wired in seperately(or was attempted). The ground was just hanging??? Dunno if the ground needs to be grounded to chasis or the ecu, I know some are different. The car is a 1994 Civic DX, motor is D16Z6, and ecu is a P28. Took pics of the wiring job and ill post up a schematic of how everything was done asap.

The iacv was replaced again today with a 115% known working one and still the same issue...I did notice there is NO coolant when the iacv is removed???

Thx for posting, we'll get it figured out and hopefully helps some peeps in the future if they are to run into the same problems.
