What's wrong with putting it on the fuel pump CONTROL wire? Don't put it on the actual wire that feeds voltage to the pump. Put it on the control line the ECU uses to activate that particular set of contacts in the Main Relay.

unhook your main relay and put it in your pocket... no wiring cutting and small enough that its not a pain to carry it, plus it plugs in and out easily for all the lazy people. you can also rewire the location of the main relay aswell with no cutting involved either.
i suggest more layering aswell.
also make sure:
1. your alarm fuses are wired and located in your engine bay and not under the dash.
2. wrap your main alarm wires ( ignition, negatives, horn, fuse wires etc) in flexible metal. then wrap it black eletrical wire. this causes cuts due to the metal and takes time to remove.
theres more but im lazy today...
