Clutch suggestions...all inputs appreciated
I recently finished all of my motor work for the time being and got it all tuned up. I am putting down 190whp and 140 lbs/ft of torque. This will be a NA setup and I want to upgrade my transmission.
I know a type r tranny would be the best way to go with the gearing and all but i don't want to go that route. I was thinking about an exedy stage 1 or stage 2 clutch but for what i have i'm not sure which would be best for my setup. 200 whp is probably the furthest i will go with my motor. I also will be putting in lsd.
Would a lightened flywheel help my setup??
Thanks in advance for your help.

Exedy Stage 1 and Stage 2 Clutches are pretty cheap, correct? Something like $85 shipped on Ebay... You cant beat that. And from what I've heard (here and other sources) they dont slip at all.
I'm working on of these Stage 1 Exedy's into my future... Just have to gather some money for the install
And a Lightweight Flywheel always helps your set-up, it is a lot less weight for your crank to turn, which results in a quicker and more responsive acceleration, and throttle response... Well worth the $150 if you ask me.

i am a proponent of clutch masters. i have a stage 4 in my car you wont need to go that high, but a stage 2 should do you fine.

For the EXEDY Racing Stage 1 Pressure Plate, EXEDY Racing Stage 1 Full Organic Clutch Disc, Release Bearing, Pilot Bearing and Alignment Tool its averaging about $250 shipped on ebay. Not sure where youve seen $85 but maybe im thinking of something different.

I also a a big fan of clutch masters, I had a stage one in my h22 sol with a 75 shot being sprayed daily and it didnt slip at all until I had it for 6 months I think that is pretty f in awsome for a stage one clutch in a mid 12 sec car
