Clutch Slipping - advice on replacement?
Hey all,
B16 clutch is slipping and I figure I have about 2 wks left on it...
Was wondering if anyone had some advice on a replacement clutch - maybe from a b18? Something that would match up but possibly be an upgrade. A friend says that the stock honda/integra clutches will last longer than aftermarket. Is this true?
He will be helping me get in installed, but time and price are factors. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks,
Dib

If you're keeping your car stock then don't go aftermarket unless it's to save money. Otherwise, I'd get a light flywheel and go for an organic clutch and better pressure plate. Probably the exedy organic kit, it's proven itself to me a couple times in my friends car.

I dont HAVE to stay stock...just a friend recommended the oem clutches as he says they last longer...I don't know if this is a fact, so was curious on that issue as well.
I think since we will have the thing in pieces a light flywheel might also be on the menu...
thanks for ur input .
Anyone else?
thx,
Dib

Seems as if more and more people have stopped reading the forum rules...
It states '' search before you create a topic''

There are just to many damn clutch threads..
