Default clutch qustion

So how can you tell if a clutch is good or not? Also, do you have to torque the bolts down, or can yo get around it? I tighted the bolts down all of the way and made sure it was tight, so can i avoid it
? Help please!!

What bolts?...you can tell if you see your clutch slipping when accelerating, also if when you switch gears if you feel it "catch" the flywheel. You will feel the car jerk..

one way to check if your clutch is sleeping is put your car into 5th gear with engine off. put the clutch in and start the car up. take your foot off the clutch without giving your car and gas and if the car stalls your good, and if the car still runs its a beat clutch. another way is just get up to about 45 mph and put it in 5th gear or your highest gear and stomp the gas. if the rpms dont drop or sag and steadily rise not drop your ok cause the clutch is not slipping under all the strain you put on it from being in 5th gear. or you can always just use your nose and smell burnt clutch when your driving or starting out or anything. its a real dominant smell so you cant miss it. hope it helps. ill be back to check up.
