Ummm....you let go of the clutch and try to go somewhere, and it doesn't.
^
Best way ev4r.
Do you mean, like you floor it and your RPMs increase while your speed doesn't? That would be the clutch.
If you can't start your car by turning the key, but all the lights turn on and everything else is ok, it could just the switch that the clutch pedal hits when you depress it to start the car.
I guess I'm saying you need to give more details.

Re: Clutch Question ?????? (SeInFeLd)
I didn't know there was a shoot clutch? Maybe I have not been around the aftermarket market enough lately. j/p
if you are trying to accellerate and your RPM's rise but you notice no difference in vehicle speed, usually the clutch is gone.

here's a fairly OK way to test: drive up a fairly steep hill, about 40mph in 5th gear. then try to accelerate in 5th gear. if the revs go up and your speed doesnt, your clutch is shot.

put it in 4th gear at a dead stop. let out the clutch and try to go. if your car dies, your clutch is ok, if you move, your clutch is "shoot"
