clutch problems
I just put new rings, bearings, and seals in my d16z6. I decided to put my 3 month old exedy clutch back on. Well i rode down the road a couple of times and begin to feel the clutch slipping. Well I accelerated one time and the clutch give out on me, Well i pushed it back to the shop and fired it up again. I put it in first and let off the pedal and the tranny made a real rough sound and would not pull. Well twenty minutes later i went out there to roll the windows up and i tried it again and the clutch grabbed and pulled out of the shop. Does anyone have a clue what can cause this?

Re: clutch problems (inline4wHORE)
Could have oil on the clutch disk but that doesn't account for the sound unless you where hearing the clutch making noise as it was slipping. The other thing you might have done is bent the clutch disk by letting the trans hang on it and last but not least did you put the disk back on the right way and torque all the bolts to speck?
