Clutch problem...please help!
alright i'm really hoping someone will be able to help me out here, as i need my car asap.
my problem is, all of a sudden when i go to depress the clutch pedal, it has no tention in the first 3-4 inches of travel, then at the bottom i feel it finally grab. Its also engaging on take off extreamly low.
at first i thought maybe a clutch cable, but then icome to find that the civic doesnt have a clutch cable like most cars do. so then i turned to the clutch, but i didnt have any warning signs at all, just all of a sudden this morning it was like this.
please someone help me out, i dont wanna get stranded on the side of the road on my way to work.

What car do you have that would help us to help you
okay anyway if you have a civic with a hydro tranny try bleeding the clutch master,
or you might have a bad master
you can adjust your pedal from under the dash to..., but it is suppost to have atleast 1 inch of play .........

check for leaks on your clutch slave and clutch master cylinder. had the same issue, turned out to be a bad clutch slave which caused the clutch from not engaging. leaked out fluid. you can DIY easy.. but check all those little things first... my .02 cents...
