Default clutch problem... HELP

just installed a jdm d15b in my automatic del sol s (d15b7).

i'm getting this weird noise comming from my engine. sort of like a sliding your hand across a piece of paper slightly when i release the clutch (happens in neutral and in all gears). when i step on the clutch, the sound stops. it only makes that noise when the clutch is engaged (not stepped on)

Did you re-surface the flywheel? If it is warped I believe it would cause the same kind of noise you're experiencing.

No the input shaft bearing is inside the tranny. The Throwout bearing is what you replaced.

i know it's not the flywheel or the clutch... when i engage it (my foot is taken off the pedal) than it makes that scruffing, sand paper noise.

It would. But if it was a throwout bearing it would growl, mostly when the clutch is all the way out.
