Default clutch pedal is low

i bought a 95 civic dx the kid who had it before me said that he had bought a stage 1 clutch off ebay but whats wierd is that the clutch pedal sits very low. to press on the clutch its only like a two inches long. its a pain sometimes cuz the car tends to jump when letting go slowly.

wrong you have to get a new clutch bc that bs one is about to burn out. the reason is bc the pressure plates that comes with those kits are crap (it happened to me when i bought the car) i ended up being a hard head and my tranny when kaphooie

Put the car in 3rd gear when stopped---If you can take off in 3rd gear then your clutch is ****.

Most likely you just need to adjust the master cylinder like Dcsports said.

If you look behind the clutch pedal, there is a metal rod going into the master cylinder. By spinning the rod you can adjust the clutch pedal distance. Just play around with it untill you like were it is at.
