Default Clutch Pedal Adjustment on '00 Si

Hello everyone, I recently purchased a '00 Si and have noticed that the engagement point of the clutch is abnormally high from the floor. To my knowledge, our transmissions run hyrdaulic clutch's so I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to adjust the pedal travel so that the engagement point is at a more normal, closer to the floor position. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you can adjust the pedal at the slave cylinder.

theres a 12mm nut behind the connecting fork, inside the cabin, above the pedal. loosen it, its def. tight. don't strip it. turn the rod to the right slightly to shorten the engagement. tighten the nut back up.

while that will work its wrong. you clutch is just ending its lifespan. adjusting it that way will just cause more problems.

The clutch shows no signs of wear, so I don't think that's it. So is the bolt near the connecting fork the best method?
