Clutch out?
I believe my stock 1997 civic EX with 98k miles clutch is out
under heavy load in like 3rd-5th gear, it slips and I'm not going anywhere
I checked my fluids and it seems fine
does anybody know what sort of replacement I should get?
I'm looking for a sort of decent/not overpriced kit from exedy or something including the throwback bearing and alignment tool and etc
anybody have a seller suggestion?

Re: Clutch out?
This is what I have. Comes with a lightweight flywheel as well which you might want to think about replacing because you're in there anyway. The clutch/flywheel combo ran me 500$ (Canadian) brand new, so it's still fairly cheap for a very durable clutch. I'd highly recommend it.

Re: Clutch out?
at 98k? Maybe your rear main seal is leaking and is getting on your clutch? XTD makes a good flywheel, but not a good clutch from what I hear. I had mines for 600 miles now, and attended high school drags with it at the 450 mile mark. I beat the crap out of it and I've read many reviews about the bad clutch, but none about the flywheel.
If your also looking for a flywheel.
