Default Clutch - noise, power loss.

During past few days, my car really was running like sh*t.
I was wondering what was the problem, basically the car felt much slower all over the powerband.
Finally this weekend I still did like a 100 miles, going here and there I figured what was the problem.
Whenever I relese the clutch it makes scratching/clicking kind of noise.
Than the car bogs for like a second or two and finally starts driving.
Every time I relese the clutch - horrible smell coming out of the engine bay.
The odd thing is that the clutch wasn't slipping much before that happened. (happened few times, but more less than often)

Is my clutch gone?

Whats the labor cost of putting a new clutch in ?
I'm thinking im gonna get butt-raped at honda?

What is the good street/weekend racing clutch you guys recommend?
(I have a mild NA setup in mind in the future).

TIA

Tommy

Well thats kinda odd that the clutch isnt slipping but the first thing you should do is check you transmissions fluid and if its low then replace it with ONLY honda MTF but if you need a new clutch get an after market clutch which can cost from 250 up to 600 depending on what you want, and the price honda quoted me for a clutch and labor was 1000.00 but if you look around you can get the labor done at a mechanics shop for around 300.00 , good luck. ugh' when my clutch went out' i could not put the car in any kind of gear' so i guess what im trying to get at is.. if you can put it into all gears the same then ur clutch may not be the problem.. IMO. My last clutch job set me back like $400... not done at honda' ugh price jacked up like crazy there im sure' dunno if any of this helps.. hope it does.

I can easily put the clutch into any gear.
The thing that bothers me is that when engaging the clutch it makes clicky/scraping noise.
Also my car feel a lot weaker since this started happening.

I will check the fluid.
I'm still wondering what could it be if not the clutch.
