a very long time ago, when I first got my car, and i started college, I had no knowledge of cars, and i paid 500 for a clutch job, which included a sachs clutch set. Its a lot of work, and if you don't know the person, i would say at least 300, without the clutch.
After i got use to my car i took the sachs clutch out and replaced it with a act and threw the sachs clutch like a Frisbee through my yard.

When we use to do installs, we charged $275 labor only for civics/integras and never had any complaints about price... If it is just someone doing it out of their garage it is just a matter of what their time is worth to them as they don't have overhead to cover~ 75-150 would be fair.

Probably like 150 if I didn't know them / care for them.
It also depends on what tools you have. If you estimate the general hourly rate at 60 bux / hour then you're left with a little less than 3 hours (and most round up). Though since I don't have a lift it'd probably take a bit. You need to pull the whole trans off . That means ball joints and axles need to come off, both mounts need to come off, trans torque mount too, all the bell housing bolts, starter, wiring harness all need to come out, then you need to drop the trans (or raise the car), replace the actual clutch, and put it all back together again.
Without a lift it's a pain in the *** process. In my driveway it'd be even worse. So I'd charge them up the ***.
For a garage, I'd say maybe 200-250 or so is a fair price for just the labor.

It kind of depends. I'll charge someone I don't know around $100 if it's a clean D series without air conditioning. I'll charge someone upwards of $300 if it's a B series covered in sludge with air conditioning lines in the way.
If it's a friend of mine I won't charge them anything, but they better let me start drinking when I start working on the car and make sure I'm at no loss for drinks for the remainder of the day.

130 for brake and clutch install together minus parts of course. but that was a shop my dads shop does business with. your best bet is to shop around in your area because everybody here lives all over the place and have different resources.
