Default Clutch keeps on sticking. leak somewhere?

Hey on my 94 civi hb my clutch pedal keeps on stickin some time. i bleed my clutch a few times. i think there might be a leak somewhere because around every 2-4 weeks the clutch reservoir gets low and i would have to put more everytime. the thing is i dont see any leaks. a friend told me thats theres an o ring in clutch master cylinder thats goes bad. do any of u guys know andything about this.

Replacing the clutch master cylinder should solve all your problems. Its cheap if you buy a rebuilt one. Should only take about an hour or so.. Good luck man.

if the slave is as old as the master, do them both. if not you will be doing the other soon also.

i'd check the whole clutch system if i were you before i start throwing parts at my car. the master can bleed into itself (kinda sounds like what you are describing) but i would make sure there's no leaks any where along the clutch line (the fittings or what ever)

and boosted is right, if you do one then do them both (master and slave) you wont have to bleed so much down the road ;-)

it's easy to do shouldn't take long at all. drain the clutch fluid, go under the driver side dash and take out the two bolts that holds the slave cylinder and take the cotter pin connecting the clutch pedal and slave cylinder. then do the same stuff putting it back together but don't forget to bleed the clutch line when done.

Super EZ install, i did one at like 9pm outside of an Advanced Auto in the cold. It takes less time to actually take off and install the new slave then it does to bleed the system.

I had the same problem about a week ago. It was the slave cylinder. I also changed the master cylinder while I was at it. Parts were cheap and install was easy. I think 20 for the slave cylinder and 50 for the master. Good luck
