Replacing the clutch master cylinder should solve all your problems. Its cheap if you buy a rebuilt one. Should only take about an hour or so.. Good luck man.

i'd check the whole clutch system if i were you before i start throwing parts at my car. the master can bleed into itself (kinda sounds like what you are describing) but i would make sure there's no leaks any where along the clutch line (the fittings or what ever)
and boosted is right, if you do one then do them both (master and slave) you wont have to bleed so much down the road ;-)

ironic, i had the exact same problem over the weekend, my slave cylinder was leaking at the little push rod, picked up one at the autoparts store and its perfect again

it's easy to do shouldn't take long at all. drain the clutch fluid, go under the driver side dash and take out the two bolts that holds the slave cylinder and take the cotter pin connecting the clutch pedal and slave cylinder. then do the same stuff putting it back together but don't forget to bleed the clutch line when done.

Super EZ install, i did one at like 9pm outside of an Advanced Auto in the cold. It takes less time to actually take off and install the new slave then it does to bleed the system.
lol i think it would be pretty hard to forget that. especially when you go try to drive off and oops whys the clutch pedal on the floor!

I had the same problem about a week ago. It was the slave cylinder. I also changed the master cylinder while I was at it. Parts were cheap and install was easy. I think 20 for the slave cylinder and 50 for the master. Good luck
