Clutch Install Question
Hey Guys,
Real quick question, me and my buddy are installing an Action 2MS (6 puck sprung) in my 00 Si (B16A2). I got the flywheel resurfaced and torqued it down per the Helms 76 ft/lbs (tho another page says 86.6 ft/lbs, weird).
So with the flywheel torqued down its time for the clutch disk, alignment tool and then the pressure plate. My question is, there's only one way that the clutch disk goes on right? It should be the smooth side aganist the flywheel? The other side (see pic) has a kind of lip or step to it.
I wanted to be 100% this was correct? I'm 99% sure, any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Clutch Install Question (FredoSP)
it will only fit one way..the way you have it in the pic is correct..i love doing clutch's..cant wait to do a flywheel..clutch and flywheels have to be the easiest mods for what you get out of it

you have it correct, it only will fit on one way. my first clutch job, with the motor in the car, took about 6 hours in the driveway. the hardest part was realigning the trans back up to the engine.
