I know its hydro, i read your post.
Clutches are self adjusting, so if indeed it is grabbing at the end on the pedal travel, one thing to suspect is what i mentionned earlier.
Did it just start doing this?

Grabbing at the top of the pedal is a sign of the clutch wearing out. Try re-bleeding your system. Also, try adjusting the pedal free play (locknut C).

Re: Clutch engages at the top of the pedal travel (filthy_shovel)
filty_shoval: Oh ur saying the self adjusting machism is faulty? I got ya.. thats a possiblity..
I bought the car with the problem
yea i bleed it pretty well and the clutch grabs pretty hard and theres no slipage at all..so i think the clutch itself is ok..
Adusting the C nut:
Adusting the C nut would just keep the clutch released? cause if its engaging at the top.. making it shorter would just make it depressed all the time.. am I understanding this right?

If you adjust the locknut you can have the clutch engage at a lower point on the pedal.
I really wouldn't worry about it though. Most OEM clutches i've driven engage near the top. Hell, my dads 01 civic was like that from the factory.

Re: Clutch engages at the top of the pedal travel (BauleyCivic)
I like having my engagement high on the pedal travel, so i dont have to push it all the way down... I dont know why, I just like it better...

THat's exactly what i am saying. But usually, the adjustment is not something you fiddle around with alot. But it may be a possibility.
I would not re-bleed unless your pedal is acting funny...
