Clutch differences 90-91 D-series and 92-00

Default Clutch differences 90-91 D-series and 92-00

I ordered a Competition Clutch for my clutch job and they sent me a clutch kit for a 90-91 SOHC civic, what are the differences in the kit and can i use it? If not im fucked because they arent open again until monday and the car is already ripped apart

hmmm, i was told 88 cant b used on the 90+,,, im pretty sure u can, but its just best if u get the one thats made for ur car, the difference i believe, is the clutch itself, probly the design of the clutch pattern

It'll work fine on all 88-2000 d series engines.

You sure about that? I don't know anything about cable clutch but I'm pretty sure civics were cable clutched until '91 (being the last year). Then '92 started hydro.

Sorry, I made a mistake. I was thinking of flywheel b/c it happened to me with flywheel. Tried to post retraction but I could only post 5 times a day b/c I'm new. Also tried to PM you but couldn't do that either. I apologize.
