Default clutch adjustment?

i have a 94 civic with a 98 sohc non vtec my problem is when i push in the clutch i got to barely let my foot off the floor for the clutch to grab so it grabs really really low and when the car is off the clutch goes through each gear perfect what do you guys think i should do adjust it or what

if i should adjust it does anyone have a diagram or something written up on how to adjust them?

edit** its also really hard to put into gear i have to force it into gear(which i shouldnt do i know*

if it is fully disengaging i would leave it alone...at least your clutch isn't worn out. If all else fails, bleed the clutch.

theres no point in bumping as often as you did...give it more than 5minutes....

crawl under the dash, look at the top of the clutch pedal
there is a lock nut to undo
spin the clutch rod so it engages higher in pedal travel
a little goes a long way
redo the locknut

it will take you more than one try to get it right...trial and error

if it is hard getting it into gear you need to bleed the clutch...not mess around under the dash.

i'm saying that sometimes bleeding the clutch can solve that....if there is a ton of air in the line it may not fully disengage the clutch...which would make it "grab" really low on the pedal.
