Re: Cluster with rpm
Assuming your'e in the US, try the local scrap yards for 92-95 Civic Ex's. Not too sure about the 8200 limit, but I know for sure they have tachs.

Re: Cluster with rpm
For USDM Civics, LX and EX/Si Clusters had Tachometers but the redlines are somewhere around 6400 for the LX and 7200 for the EX/Si. You can try a junkyard or eBay for one. I believe the JDM SiR clusters had the redline somewhere around 8200.

Riiight, I suppose the Jdm Civic SiR had it, seeing as they had the B16 and all. Time to fork out the big bucks.

Re: Cluster with rpm
Here's a pic of the SiRII Cluster. It appears to have an 8200RPM redline.
And this puppy is $165 on HMotorsOnline.com so yeah, they ain't cheap.

Re: Cluster with rpm
no... your ecu detemines where the fuel cut off is....so if you ecu is chipped for 8400 than it will bounce at 8400...you cluster is just there to tell you where your rpms are at
