i have a 93 dx hatch

The other day my buddy came over to give me a hand wiring up my JDM city lights. we began wiring them to my corners but stopped and decided to re-wire my side markers so that they only came on when my corners blinked appossed to stayin on with the corners. we then opted to just wait and go to password and get the city light wiring harness for like 10 bucks for a cleaner install. so we do that and everythings great.

then last night when i start my car at work i notice that my rear blinker light is fixed in the on position as well as my corner and my sidemarker. they are glowing brightly constantly (like then do when they blink). so i figure something must have grounded out in the wiring we just did. so i drive home and work on it this mornight, making sure the conections are good and retape them nicely. everythings working great when i test it.

then on my way to work i turn my driver side blinker on to make a left and my cluster and clock competely die. i have no gas gauge, temp, speedometer or tach. also my blinkers wont work at all. the corners and stuff still light up, they just wont blink. also all dash lights are still on in the cluster.

wtf

i checked my fuses and they all seem okay. i dunno. its pissing me off.

any ideas what the problem could be.

also, the wiring under my dash looks like a plate of italian pasta (from the first owner). im pretty irrated. any help would be awesome!!!
