cluster Dead HELP ANYONE ASAP
OK so i'm driving and I bottomed out big time-nothing is hurt but my cluster on the dash went dead...Right after this happen I tryed to use my turn singles and nothing so i went to put on my 4 ways,-pop went the fuse so i replaced the fuse for the 4 ways thinking it might have something to do with the turn singles....still no turn singles, no speed meter...no temp. gage.....no gas gage...NOTHING IS WORKING and I have tryed just about everything....checked most of the wires and fuses....
A lil about my car I have a 95 hach DX 1.5.....With a D16 ecu and just about everything bolt on- on the motor intake ect....
WHAT COULD IT BE?
Give me some info Please.......!!

he did already... and I searched through all 5 pages of info I could find and there werea few posts similar to this and none of them actually had an answer, they all had the same exact issues to. 4 way hazards work, but no individual turns. Hi beam light still comes on, but everything else is dead.

Re: cluster Dead HELP ANYONE ASAP (hachboy557)
there is no common fuse for all those things but it may be G401, which is becoming a semi-regular problem on EGs.
It's a bundle of ground wires under the dash just to the left of the fuse box.
It's ground for everyone of the circuits you mentioned. All though it does high beams and hazards also, but it may be through a different connection to the actual grounding point so check it out.
it's pulled out here to show the actual connection in detail on the lower left, follow the connecting line to where it is in the car.
wiggle/push/pull/etc the wires and see if anything starts working. if it does you've found the problem.
if you have a multi-meter, some electrical knowledge and feel like following directions I can help you troubleshoot this and help everyone with this problem.

i'm not sure but is that 0bdII??? with D16 ecu?
i've seen where the 2ndary 02 sensor or the wire itself gets destroyed or ripped out when bottoming out, causing very similar problems. if its 0bdII jack it up and check it out. if not then free bump

Re: (I_eat_Rice)
Check out the wiring list in the link below. With a voltmeter check to see if you have power and ground @ the right pins.

Re: (Z3120)
yeah use a volt meter because it sounds like you might have demolished a ground somewhere
if so, it's an easy fix once you find out where. i hope that helps any
