Default cluster

I know this may sound stupid to some of you but right now I have a autometer tach installed in a 1995 honda dx,well my ? is "Are clusters from other civics universal and which ones can I put into my dx?" hopefully one with a tach...any help would be appreciative.

You can put any 5th gen(92-95) civics tach in there. EX/Si clusters have tachs.

He is correct.

I just purchased a EX cluster for my 98 DX. It's an automatic cluster but it will still work with a manual. 92-95 are all interchangeable and 96-00 are also interchangeable.

Exactly. Tachs from same generations are all swappable.

don't forget the VX had a tach too.

With a lower redline.
Try eBay or your nearest Honda salvage yard.

92-95 Si/VX
93-95 EX

correct i believe it's 6k redline. don't for get the VX cluster has the nifty little green shift light, not sure if it would work without the vx ecu
